How To Fix GPay Error Code IR?


Fix 1: Check Data & Time

The first thing you need to do is check your phone’s date and time settings, whether it’s correct or not.

You can simply visit your device setting and from there make sure your device time and date are synced to your country or state time zone.


Fix 2: Make Sure GPay Is Updated

If your device time and date settings are up to date then make sure you are using the latest version of the GPay app.

To confirm that, simply go to the app store and search for the GPay app.

If there are any pending updates for the GPay app then you can see the option to update the app right there.


Fix 3: Turn On And Off Flight Mode

If you are already using the latest version of the GPay app then turn on the flight mode on your phone and then wait for around 10 seconds before turning off the flight mode.

Now check if turning on and off the flight mode fixes the error or not.


Fix 4: Reset Your Network

The next solution you can try is to reset your network settings.

Just go to your phone network settings and from there reset the network. And check if resetting the network fixes the error or not.


Fix 5: Clear Cache

If the error still persists then clear the Google Pay app cache.

For Android

  • Press and hold on to the GPay app icon.
  • Tap App Info.
  • Tap Cache & Storage.
  • Now clear Cache, and check if the problem has been resolved or not.

For iPhone

If you are an iPhone user then you need to uninstall the GPay App, and then reinstall it.
