Fixes For Netflix Error 2.101

Fix 1: Make Sure Netflix App Is Updated

The first thing you need to make sure that the Netflix app is updated. Follow the steps given below to check the update for the Netflix app on your Android smartphone or tablet.

  • Go to the Play Store.
  • Then from the search bar look for Netflix.
  • If you need to update Netflix then it will show the option to Update, otherwise, it will show you the option to Open the app.
  • If you see the Update option next to the Netflix app then tap on it to start updating the app.
  • Once the app is updated check if the error still comes.

Fix 2: Clear The Netflix App Data

If your Netflix app is updated but the error is still coming then try clearing the Netflix app cache and storage data.

  • Go to the Netflix app from the start menu.
  • Then Tap and hold on to the Netflix app icon.
  • Then choose App info.
  • Then choose Storage & Cache.
  • Then choose Clear cache.
  • Then choose Clear Storage data.
  • Then launch Netflix again.
  • Then log in to your account.
  • Then check if the error still comes.

Fix 3: Uninstall And Reinstall The Netflix app On Your Device

If clearing the Netflix app data also fails to resolve your issue then you should try uninstalling the Netflix app from your device and then reinstalling it.

Here is how to uninstall and reinstall the Netflix app.

  • Go to the Play Store.
  • Then from the search bar search for “Netflix.”
  • Then from the search result tap on the Netflix app.
  • Then choose Uninstall.
  • Then restart your phone or tablet.
  • Then go to the App Store and reinstall the Netflix.
  • Then launch Netflix.
  • Then sign in to your account.
  • Then check if the error still persists.

Fix 3: Contact Netflix Support Team

If you still receive the error even after trying all the suggestions given above then you should not contact Netflix support and report the issue to get further help and advice.
