Fix 1: Check If You Need To Update Your Console

For PS4

  • Restart your console.
  • Then go to Settings.
  • Then choose System Software Update.
  • Then choose Update Now.
  • If your console is already updated with the latest software, you’ll see a message that your console is already updated.
  • In case there is a new update then tap Next to start downloading the update.

For PS5

  • Restart your Console.
  • Then go to your console Settings.
  • Then scroll down and select System.
  • Then under the System Software select System Software Update and Settings.
  • Then choose Update System Software.
  • If you need to update your console it will show you that you have a new update, otherwise it will tell you that your console is already up to date.

Fix 2: Rebuilt The PlayStation Database

If your Playstation console is updated then try rebuilding the database for your console. If you don’t know how to do this then follow the below given steps.

  • Shut down your Playstation console.
  • Wait till your console lights get fully closed.
  • Then press and hold your console power button until you hear the second beep.
  • As you hear the second beep leave the power button, now your PSN console will run in safe mode.
  • Then connect your controller to the console via a USB cable.
  • Then press the PS button.
  • Then from the menu choose “Rebuild database“.
  • Wait till the process finishes.
  • Then from the Safe Mode menu choose Restart.
  • Then check if now the error gets resolved.

  • Go to Notifications.

  • Then choose your Downloaded file.

  • Then Delete the downloaded content.
